Spotlight: ID AG Raul Labrador

Professional background: Raúl Labrador was elected as the 33rd Idaho Attorney General in the 2022 general election. Prior to being elected, AG Labrador served as the chair of the Idaho Republican Party. He was previously the U.S. Representative for Idaho’s 1st congressional district from 2011 to 2019. He was also a member of the Idaho House of Representatives from 2006 to 2010.  

Key priorities since becoming AG:

  1. Defending Idaho’s sovereignty and standing up for individual liberty.
  2. Pushing back against perceived overreach by the federal government.
  3. Protecting values and keeping Idaho families safe.

Education:  AG Labrador earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Spanish with an emphasis in Latin American literature from Brigham Young University and a J.D. from University of Washington School of Law.

Personal: AG Labrador lives in Eagle with his wife, Becca.  They have five children.
