Spotlight: Indiana AG Todd Rokita

Professional background: Todd Rokita was elected as Indiana Attorney General in 2020. From 2011 to 2019, Rokita served as U.S. Representative from Indiana’s 4th Congressional District. Prior to that, from 2002 to 2010, he was Indiana’s Secretary of State, having started work in the Secretary of State’s office in 1997. An Indiana native from the northwest part of the state, AG Rokita worked in private practice for several years after he graduated law school.

His priorities are:

  • Fighting to protect Hoosiers from crime and lawlessness, upholding the rule of law, supporting law enforcement, and protecting constitutional rights.
  • Preserving individual liberties, fighting against perceived overreach by the federal government, and fearless pursuit of Big Tech.

Education: AG Rokita received a B.A. from Wabash College, where he was an Eli Lilly Fellow and a member of the Sigma Chi fraternity. He earned a J.D. from Robert H. McKinney School of Law at Indiana University.

Personal: AG Rokita and his wife Kathy live in Brownsburg, IN with their two children. AG Rokita and his wife are active in promoting awareness of Angelman syndrome, a genetic disorder that affects their son.
