State Rep. Todd Atwater is "very seriously" considering a run for South Carolina attorney general in 2018 against incumbent Alan Wilson. The four-term GOP lawmaker from Lexington told The Post and Courier he expects to make a final decision in the next few weeks but is strongly leaning towards challenging Wilson, a fellow Lexington Republican who is seeking a third term as the state's top lawyer.
