Maine Attorney General Janet Mills announced Monday that she will seek the Democratic Party’s nomination for governor in 2018. Mills is the highest-profile Democrat to enter the race and is known for her frequent clashes with Maine’s Gov. Paul LePage, a Republican who is finishing his second and final term.
