Ketan Bhirud was quoted in Law360 on the recent Pennsylvania appellate court’s ruling that “Pennsylvania Skill Games”, made by Pace-O-Matic, are not illegal gambling. Although the Pennsylvania AG’s office has vowed to appeal, for now Ketan hypothesizes that the decision could have the effect of not only allowing Pace-O-Matic’s machines to operate and spread, but also slowing the crackdown on other companies’ so-called skills games.
