Keith Kautz was appointed as Wyoming Attorney General by Governor Mark Gordon in July 2025, filling the role vacated by former AG Bridget Hill when she joined the Wyoming Supreme Court. Before assuming office, AG Kautz served as a justice on the Wyoming Supreme Court from 2015 until 2024. From 1993 until 2015, he served as a district court judge for Wyoming’s Eighth District. He also was previously in private practice in Torrington, WY, as a partner in the firm Sawyer, Warren & Kautz.
