AGs on the Move: Utah AG Election an Open Seat in 2024; NAAG Elects President & VP

  • Utah AG Sean Reyes announced he will not seek reelection in 2024, following three terms as the state’s chief legal officer. Following this announcement, Utah becomes the sixth state with an open seat AG election in 2024, along with North Carolina, Oregon, Pennsylvania, Washington, and West Virginia.
  • During the National Association of Attorneys General’s (NAAG) annual Capital Forum last week, Oregon AG Ellen Rosenblum was elected President of NAAG and Connecticut AG William Tong was elected Vice President.
  • The NAAG Capital Forum also covered substantive topics of importance to regulators and the business community alike, including the increasing relevance of AI across different sectors, as recently reported by Cozen O’Connor attorney Hannah Cornett.
