(Amsterdam News) - Attorney General-elect Letitia “Tish” James was a teenager when she saw her brother unjustly arrested for a crime he didn’t commit. Her mother took her to criminal court where James witnessed how unfair the criminal justice system is. The experience inspired her to become a public servant.
