Democratic AGs Win Fight to Keep Wind Energy Spinning Forward

  • A group of 18 Democratic AGs, led by New York AG Letitia James, won summary judgment in their lawsuit to block a presidential directive suspending all federal approvals for wind energy projects.
  • In its order granting summary judgment, the U.S. District Court for the District of Massachusetts declared the executive order illegal and vacated it, holding that the order was arbitrary, capricious, and contrary to law in violation of the Administrative Procedure Act.
