- North Carolina U.S. Representative Jeff Jackson secured the Democratic nomination for the 2024 AG election. Rep. Jackson will face North Carolina U.S. Representative Dan Bishop in the general election. North Carolina AG Josh Stein secured the Democratic nomination for Governor.
- Tennessee AG Jonathan Skrmetti announced that Matt Rice will be the state’s next Solicitor General. Rice was most recently Special Assistant to the SG, and had joined the AG’s office in 2022.
