Jason Miyares was elected as attorney general in 2021. He served in the Virginia House of Delegates from 2015 to 2021 while also working as a partner with the consulting firm Madison Strategies. Earlier in his career, AG Miyares was an assistant commonwealth’s attorney in Virginia Beach, and also worked as a campaign manager and adviser to former U.S. Congressman Scott Rigell (R-VA).
