Background: AG Hood served as a District Attorney at the Third Circuit Court in North Mississippi and as a Special Assistant AG. As a prosecutor, he successfully prosecuted several historic cases, including the conviction of Edgar Ray Killen for the 1964 murders of three civil rights workers. He also founded the nation’s leading Cyber Crime Unit and Fusion Center.
