Virginia’s Loudoun County is known for its scenic views of the Blue Ridge Mountains, having more wineries and vineyards than any other county in the commonwealth and being ranked in the latest U.S. census estimates as the wealthiest county in the nation. The county also has a reputation for being a bellwether in statewide election, but both Loudoun and Virginia overall have trended more Democratic in recent years.
