- FTC Chairman Andrew Ferguson has appointed Emma Mittelstaedt Burnham as Associate Director for Healthcare in the Bureau of Competition. Burnham’s background includes 11 years as a prosecutor for the Antitrust Division of U.S. DOJ, where she most recently served as Director of Criminal Enforcement.
- Catherine Hanaway was sworn in as Missouri’s 45th AG on September 8, 2025. A former federal prosecutor, AG Hanaway was the only woman to serve as Speaker for the Missouri House of Representatives. As previously reported, AG Hanaway replaces Andrew Bailey, who began his term as AG in January 2023 and resigned to serve as co-deputy director of the FBI.
