Ohio Democrats Nominate John Kulewicz for AG

  • Ohio Democrats nominated Upper Arlington City Councilmember and attorney John Kulewicz as their candidate for AG, after Kulewicz defeated Cleveland-area attorney and former state representative Elliot Forhan in the primary.
  • Kulewicz will face Republican Keith Faber, Ohio’s current auditor of state, in the November general election. Faber ran unopposed in the Republican primary.
  • Current Ohio AG Dave Yost, who is term-limited after serving two terms as the state’s chief legal officer, reportedly is expected to resign imminently; Governor (and former AG) Mike DeWine will appoint an interim to serve until the election.
