- The settlement will resolve lawsuits filed by Texas against Google for allegedly tracking and collecting users’ private data regarding geolocation, incognito searches, and biometric data, in violation of state consumer protection laws.
- According to AG Paxton’s press release, Google will pay $1.375 billion to settle the claims.
