Former DFL legislator Ryan Winkler is bringing on the populism in his race to become Minnesota's attorney general. He announced his intention to run especially early—fall of 2016. Originally from Bemidji, Winkler represented Twin Cities suburb Golden Valley for five terms in the Minnesota House of Representatives before moving to Belgium when his wife got a job there.
